Alfonso Mauricio

Owner

A former U.S. Marine during the Vietnam Era and diehard Ohio State fan (GO BUCKS!), Alfonso has been a proud South Florida resident along with his wife and son (Joe Sr.) since the early 1980s. Shortly thereafter, what is now known as Garden Creations was established and Alfonso’s role was instrumental to the company’s success in all field operations for nearly 30 years. Although now retired, Alfonso’s impact continues to be felt throughout the company on a daily basis as it transitions into the hands of a new generation of Mauricios.

Joe Mauricio

Owner/Operator

From the company’s humble beginnings in 1984, Joe Sr. has been the driving force behind Garden Creations’ growth and success. His dedication, work ethic, and integrity are what has lead to so many long-lasting relationships with clients, both residential and commercial. Currently, Joe Sr. is most active when providing estimates and landscape designs for new and existing clients, but continues to be in the field for large landscape installations or instances where expert troubleshooting is needed. He is a LIAF Certified Landscape Inspector, holds numerous certifications/licenses from Broward County for multiple areas of specialty, and is a proud member of the Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association (FNGLA).

Joe Mauricio Jr.

Operations Manager

While he may be Senior’s oldest son, Joe Jr. is the most recent addition to the Garden Creations family. Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2012, Junior joined the team and has since slowly inherited more and more responsibility. A/P, A/R, HR, payroll, scheduling, execution of contracts, customer and vendor relations…anything that goes through the office goes through Junior. With both him and his brother, Jordan, firmly engrained into the company’s DNA, the future surely is bright for Garden Creations!

Jordan Mauricio

Residential Quality Control Manager

Since 2004, Jordan has been using his eye for detail to oversee and critique the appearance of every job site prior to, during, and after service to guarantee that Garden Creations continues to be the company chosen, “When Quality Counts.” His ability to spot opportunities that will enhance a customer’s landscape is unmatched, and his understanding of design layout isn’t far behind. Whether acting as a general maintenance crew supervisor, foreman during an installation, or performing a quality inspection walkthrough, our clients’ properties are all in good hands when Jordan is on site.

Detail Crew

Garden Creations

The Detail crew is used to manicure a landscape by hand pruning various plant material throughout a client’s property. They are used on most landscape jobs and specialty tree trimming jobs as well.

General Maintenance Crew

Garden Creations

This crew is responsible for all grass cutting, edging, weed eating, hedge trimming and debris cleanup of properties both commercial and residential. They are also used to assist in large landscape jobs as needed.
